Speedspace's presence in Postmasburg has resulted in a further contract which requires the construction of a 600-man mobile prefabricated modular site camp for Kumba Iron Ore.

The contract, which was awarded in April 2010, is currently on track and due for completion towards the end of October 2010. A total of 4900 square metres of prefabricated site accommodation - comprising Speedsleep (dormitories), Speedloo (ablution facilities/toilets), Speedoffice (mobile site offices) and Speedplan (modular panel system) - will be supplied.

The project, which takes the form of a turnkey solution to site accommodation, is currently within the required key dates, with the first phase due for handover in mid-July 2010. Regular updates will be posted on our website to confirm the status and progress of this site accommodation project.
